Really delicious sushi restaurant. This was our first time here and they have some really unique rolls. I recommend the fish karaage and the garlic mussels to start.

This is the best Japanese restaurant in Miami-Dade County, period, full stop, End of discussion. As someone who visits Japan often, nothing else in town is as authentic, and has as much variety as Shibui. Also the value and aesthetics are unmatched. If you’re choosing a Japanese restaurant in Downtown or Brickell, DONT. Come here instead. (Thank me later) Wagyu and Toro Nigiri 🍣 are on another level Garlic mussels to die for. Vegetable tempura is fantastic. Truly you can’t go wrong with any dish.

Shibui is hands down one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to. The quality of the fish is exceptional fresh, clean, and perfectly prepared every time. You can tell they take pride in every detail, from presentation to flavor balance. The atmosphere is elegant but still comfortable, and the service matches the level of the food—attentive, knowledgeable, and consistent. If you appreciate high quality sushi and a well rounded dining experience, this place absolutely delivers.

Having driven by hundreds of times previously, and always seeing a full parking lot, today was the day I finally remembered to come in. First observations: - Opportunity to do Japanese traditional floor seating (upstairs) and table/chairs(downstairs) - Huge menu with lots of roll and hot plate options - Waitress was very kind and helpful when sorting through the menu Food: - Volcano Roll: Too much spicy mayonnaise to crab. The JB roll itself was very good, but don't plan on getting the volcano part again. Other rooms looked really good and will try something else next time -Sukiyaki- I've never ordered this before and glad I tried it here. Presentation is great and the roast beef/steak on top was fantastic. The tofu was firm and not a soft mess as it sometimes happens in soups. Broth is somewhat sweet/onion soup like. Will Def order this again and recommended it to the table next me -Yakiniku- This was very good and we ordered an extra to-go order for work tomorrow. Although it states there is a little spice on the menu, there isn't, but you can order a side of spicy sauce to add to your liking -Banana Tempura- Always one of my fav desserts and it is done very well here, with

Lillian or Lilliana (sorry im not sure which was her name) was our server today and she gave us excellent recommendations and it was such a pleasure to have her as our server. I really hope to have her again she was so attentive and she has amazing energy. The food here is amazing cant go wrong with the sugoi maki roll
